Warehouse Pre-Packer

About the role

Eden Brothers is one of America's largest online retailers of flower bulbs and seeds, serving gardeners across the country. During the busy fall season, the Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Product Pre‑Packer helps convert bulk seed inventory into finished retail products, ensuring accurate weighing, counting, labeling, and packaging using the Odoo ERP system and various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve assigned Manufacturing Orders (MOs) daily in Odoo.
• Accurately record completed production, lot tracking, and finished goods in the system.
• Perform real‑time quality checks in Odoo to verify weights, counts, and packaging are correct.
• Update any discrepancies in bulk usage, counts, or labeling directly in the system to maintain accurate inventory.
• Measure and pack seeds into packets and bulk sizes using scales, seed counters, and packaging machines.
• Perform continuous quality checks to ensure exact weights, counts, and seals.
• Follow strict labeling standards (variety, weight, lot number, compliance text).
• Operate heat sealers with counters and verify accurate sealing integrity.
• Identify and immediately flag any product, bulk, or labeling issues to the Production Manager.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all weights, counts, and entries.
• Consistently hit daily and weekly packing targets without sacrificing accuracy.
• Be a self‑starter capable of working independently once tasks are assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met.
