About the role
This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for staging, loading, and unloading finished product and raw materials as well as stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.
Responsibilities
- Stage finished product for loading
- Load finished product onto truck
- Operate forklift and attachments safely
- Unload raw materials from truck and move to warehouse storage
- Move packaging waste to dumpsters and product waste to storage trailer
- Responsible for visual quality inspections of incoming and outgoing materials and finished products
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Operate the Lantec Wrapper to complete finished pallets
- Complete daily logs including trailer inspections, incoming material inspections, forklift inspection, counts as requested, and readings per schedule
- Process receiving transactions
- Process inventory transfers including process shipping transactions to customer and to the corporate facility in Bluffton
- General housekeeping
- Be safe and alert at all times
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees
- Create a positive work environment for co-workers & customers
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- Forklift Certification
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
- Good overall communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
Pay
Starting at $21.16/hr. Overnight shift has $1.00/hr shift differential.
Schedule
Day and Night shifts available. 12-hour shift (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am). 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs; Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).
