Warehouse - Picker/Packer

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Picker-Packer to join our operations team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain by accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, as well as supporting daily assembly projects. Responsibilities

• Picking:
  • Organize labels to coincide with warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
  • Safely navigate the warehouse using the mouse cart as transportation
  • Utilize handheld scanners to select products from bin locations with 100% accuracy
  • Communicate daily stock replacement needs, inventory discrepancies, and mislabeled items to management
• Packing:
  • Verify customer labels and order details for efficient picking
  • Pack product with 100% accuracy into designated labeled bags for each order
  • Hand off completed orders to the shipping department in a timely manner
  • Restock product to bins to maintain inventory levels
• Assembly & Ad Hoc Work:
  • Support the assembly department by assembling parts following the last daily parcel pickup
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned within the warehouse (e.g., shipping, receiving, assembly)

Requirements

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on order precision to achieve 100% accuracy in picking and packing
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and pick up to 50 lbs
• Reliability: Show up daily to support the team, strong time-management skills, and a solid work ethic
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Windows OS, handheld scanners, mobile devices, and other software/hardware

Work Environment

• Active warehouse environment
• Frequent lifting, carrying, stacking, pushing, and pulling of small parts and packages up to 50 lbs or more

Pay

$18 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Day turn: 8:15 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday – Friday

Location

Pittsburgh, PA (Harmar area), on-site

You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
