Warehouse Picker/Packer

About the Role

This full-time position involves performing warehouse tasks such as receiving product, preparing customer orders, and shipping products to clients. The role emphasizes cross-training across distribution departments with opportunities to specialize in a specific area. The facility is a fully operational warehouse servicing multiple business lines.

• Unload, receive, and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of the Commissary (KCN) team
• Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, including counting product and correcting inventory
• Leverage technology and learn WMS systems using mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, and tablets
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Other duties as determined by business needs

Responsibilities

• Experience with picking/packing orders within a warehouse preferred
• Pay attention to detail
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM until work is completed. This position is located in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

Pay

Starting wage rate: $18.00/hour

• Weekly performance-based bonus
• Regular opportunities for overtime, paid at the corresponding overtime rate
