Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the building according to Distribution’s Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure product is accessible for safe selection and delivery to stores.
• Clean industrial equipment, tractor trailers, and facility floors in collaboration with multiple teams.
• Sort recycling materials and reduce shrink by collecting damaged cases, sorting product, repackaging, and properly labeling cases.
• Follow a Master Sanitation Schedule and document all completed tasks.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Successfully complete a Work Attitude Survey.
• Ability to:
  • Work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
  • Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before the start date).
  • Use cleaning chemicals and powered industrial equipment requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Lift, carry, and stack product weighing:
    • 67 pounds for Frozen Foods and Produce.
    • 85 pounds for Boxed Meat/Dairy.
  • Stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive work for long periods.
  • Operate a pallet truck or forklift without exposing any part of the body outside the operator compartment.
  • Work under strict time requirements.
  • Read, write, identify, and verify numbers.
  • Interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Current Atlanta Distribution associate preferred.

• Year-end Holiday Bonus:
  • First year of continuous employment: 15 hours of pay.
  • Second year of continuous employment: one week’s pay (if employed through the issue date).
