Warehouse Person

About the role

The Warehouse Person at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Be able to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must have valid lift truck driver’s license.
• Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production.
• Must understand and be able to fill out all shipping and receiving records for trailers, tankers, rail cars and do accurate inventories. Accurate inventory performance is essential in maintaining this position.
• Must be able to communicate by telephone with customers, vendors, freight companies, etc., when necessary.
• Must be able to operate switcher truck in a safe & effective manner.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by TreeHouse Foods
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.

Pay

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday on 2nd shift. 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.
