Western Coating, Inc seeks a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join their Ogden team as a Warehouse Person. In this role, you will safely assist Operators in the day-to-day activities enhancing their ability to accurately produce fabricated reinforcing bar in the most cost-efficient productive manner possible.
Responsibilities
- Pulling material, preparing material for delivery, with emphasis on safety while enhancing customer satisfaction through accuracy and product quality.
- Keeping orders filled to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Efficiently move material from trucks, restocking racks utilizing Farwest procedures and equipment to protect personal and material quality.
- Track material and heat numbers for certification; rotate material and keep it accessible.
- Assist machine operators, preparing parts for packaging and delivery per customer requirements and safe transport.
- Perform required maintenance and safety duties, including attending safety and production meetings and monitoring tools and equipment to ensure safe operation and minimal downtime.
- Assist will-call customers by filling and loading their material in a professional manner.
- Ensure any damage to product coating is repaired prior to shipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous rebar experience.
- Understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and treat employees and customers with respect, courtesy, and tact.
- Ability to make mathematical calculations.

Pay
Wage Range: $17.65–$20.90 per hour, depending on experience. Wage reviews occur every 6 to 12 months.
Schedule
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Full-time, on-site.
