Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Full Time Warehouse Pallet Recovery Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Pay and Schedules

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Premiums: $1.00 per hour for first shift, $1.50 per hour for second and third shifts
• Schedules: First Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Second Shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Third Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Able to work within a diverse work environment
• Able to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

• Highly thorough and dependable

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
