Warehouse Overhead Crane Operator

About the role

This hourly, non-exempt position involves operating overhead cranes to pull slab orders accurately and safely. New hires typically earn between $49,500 and $65,400 annually, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Pull slabs from the warehouse based on provided slab orders
• Move slabs to loading areas using overhead cranes
• Load slabs onto customer vehicles/trucks
• Ensure products are well secured on vehicles and take all necessary safety measures
• Unload slabs from containers using forklifts
• Arrange slabs properly in the slab warehouse using forklifts or cranes
• Maintain a clean and safe slab warehouse for staff and customers
• Perform additional duties as required or requested

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift, overhead crane, and warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Pay

This position pays $19 to $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate.

Schedule

Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with 1 Saturday per month from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
