Warehouse OS&D Clerk-*Perishable & Freezer Only Facility*

As an Overage, Shortage & Damages Team Member, you will manage the proper disposition of damaged and returned product, receive over-shipments, and repack salvageable items.

This is a 1st shift position located at our Perishable & Frozen facility off 288 & Holcombe Blvd in Houston, Texas. This role is exclusive to this location.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and remove damaged product from the case and repackage salvageable product to return to the warehouse.
• Stack product that cannot be sold to customers on a pallet, shrink wrap, and load on a trailer to be shipped to another facility.
• Record receipt of returned products from in-bound trailers in the proper manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by sweeping, mopping floors, and stacking product.

Requirements

• Ability to lift between 30–70 lbs.
• Capable of walking/standing up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures (perishable/refrigerated: 28°–60°F; frozen: -20°–0°F).
• Ability to operate necessary equipment.
• Must be able to work an eight-hour shift with occasional overtime.
• Position requires constant standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.

Pay

$17 per hour + $1.50 cooler/freezer premium.

Schedule

Full-time, 1st shift (Sunday–Friday), 5 days on/2 days off. Start time: 6:30 a.m. until completion.
