Warehouse Order Selector - $25.20/HR Paid Insurance Benefits

Job Summary

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. This is an active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders, and performing other duties as assigned. The environment includes temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and product type (non‑refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
• Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe working environment while handling temperature and humidity variations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 5 years relevant work experience.
• Frequent lifting of product weighing 10 lb – 75 lb, up to 100 lb.
• Frequent reaching up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10–12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 5 years experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 5 years of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 5 years selection experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
