Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and established inventory control procedures.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or delays that could impact production schedules.
  • Create and manage Job Travelers and Purchase Orders within the ERP system.
  • Stage and issue materials for job orders according to equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Ensure materials are organized and available to support fabrication and blade production teams.
  • Assist with shipping activities and coordinate packing and crating of equipment to ensure safe transport.
  • Ensure shipments are properly documented and prepared for delivery.

Production Support

  • Create and manage Job Travelers and Purchase Orders within the ERP system.
  • Stage and issue materials for job orders according to equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Ensure materials are organized and available to support fabrication and blade production teams.

Receiving and Inspection

  • Receive incoming materials and inspect parts to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Process received materials into the ERP system and stock them in designated inventory locations.
  • Communicate any quality or delivery issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Shipping and Logistics

  • Assist with shipping activities and coordinate packing and crating of equipment to ensure safe transport.
  • Ensure shipments are properly documented and prepared for delivery.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and inventory environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Experience with equipment packing and crating in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production job orders.
  • Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory auditing procedures.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions, diagrams, and production schedules.
  • Proficiency in the safe use of power tools, including circular saws, drills, and nail guns.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and company policies.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for up to 80% of the workday.
  • Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
