Warehouse Operator Nights

Rate: $24.25 per hour plus differential. Shift: Nights, 6pm–6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

As a warehouse team member, you will operate power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, unload, pick, and count merchandise while ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will store incoming merchandise, pull products for shipment, stage ingredients, hook up new totes, deliver packaging materials, and unload bulk ingredient tankers into silos.

Responsibilities

• Build, adjust, and secure pallets to ensure safe transportation.
• Pick products from warehouse racks accurately in a fast-paced environment; read purchase orders and sales orders.
• Use a handheld scanning device or written documents to locate products and fill customer orders.
• Ensure accurate inventory of goods; convey completed orders to designated areas.
• Initiate appropriate action when goods received are damaged or defective.
• Verify items pulled against documents to minimize errors.
• Transport palletized merchandise from receiving to staging areas and to freight trucks or loading docks.
• Receive and store raw materials and empty pallets in designated locations.
• Receive raw ingredient tankers by site GMP, quality, and food defense standards; safely unload contents into bulk silos.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping aisles and stacking empty pallets.
• Take advantage of opportunity charging to keep power equipment fully operational.
• Perform daily inspections of powered industrial trucks and submit reports to management.
• Mentor new warehouse personnel on proper operation of powered industrial trucks.
• Operate powered industrial trucks according to manufacturer’s instructions and company safety rules.
• Collaborate with all warehouse departments (shipping, receiving, finished goods, and raw material intake) to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Forklift operation experience preferred (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, depending on the role).
• Knowledge of warehouse processes like receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Familiarity with inventory systems (RF scanners, WMS, or ERP software is a plus).
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and seek solutions.
• Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
