Warehouse Operator - Monday-Friday-2:30pm to 10:30pm

About the role

Location: Four Oaks, North Carolina. Duration: 12 months. Shift: Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (2nd shift). Work environment: climate‑controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes and ride a pallet jack.
• Count selected cases.
• Use an RF scanner.
• Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products.
• Maintain records as needed.
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within a skill area/process/method.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines.
• Work under general to limited supervision.
• Physical demands: regularly exposed to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type (including repetitive motion of wrists, hands or fingers); exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, vibration; occasional work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles; hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (limited heating); moderate to loud noise level.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of warehouse experience or related experience/training.
• Ability to obtain/maintain appropriate licenses, training or certifications as needed.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills understandable to co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend English documents and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work in a metrics‑driven environment.
• General computer skills.
• Must complete a 10‑panel drug screen.
• Steel‑toe or composite shoes required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Background check must be completed before starting; no exceptions.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.
