Warehouse Operator Job

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and warehouse raw materials and finished goods at the Ashland, Ohio facility.
• Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping of material and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory levels for raw materials and collaborate with procurement to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Participate in cycle counts for the plant warehouse.
• Able to train/certified to ship HAZMAT material per DOT, IATA, and IMDG rules.
• Follow all Safety Rules, Regulations, Operating Procedures, Corporate/Plant Policies and Laws at all times.
• Safely operate an industrial lift truck (sit down and stand up).
• Load/unload trucks with forklift.
• Move/back trailers on-site with Yard Truck.
• Label containers for shipment.
• Maintain satisfactory housekeeping standards.
• Safely handle industrial chemicals.
• Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including chemical suit, respirator, face shield, hard hat, steel toed boots, etc.
• Work 1st shift and work overtime as needed.
• Participate in company safety meetings and training.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by supervision.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hands-on manufacturing experience, with chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and good math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
