About the role

This position is for a Warehouse Operator on the 2nd shift, based in Omaha, NE. You will work safely at all times, operate and improve plant safety, and perform a variety of tasks related to production, equipment maintenance, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and follow all personal and equipment safety policies, GMP, Food Safety/HACCP, and Sanitation policies.
• Operate mechanical loading/unloading equipment (forklifts, electric walk-behind pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks), macro wave operation, malt hand packing and stacking, flour blending, packing, and loading farina.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, including preventative checks, greasing, oil level checks, inspections, minor adjustments, and repairs (e.g., sewing machines, spouts, conveyors).
• Complete Master Sanitation duties, daily checks, and other critical tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly, including thorough blowing down and cleaning of assigned areas.
• Fill in for other skilled positions throughout the facility as assigned by a supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of production, food safety checks, and work activities using paper documents and computer entry.
• Comply with food safety critical control points for products being produced.
• Be available and willing to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school education and/or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Physically capable of routinely lifting 50 lb flour bags.
• Adequate comprehension and mechanical skills to follow written/verbal instructions and operate equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new programs.
• Must be clean-shaven to perform tasks requiring respiratory protection (e.g., N-95 dust mask).
• Dependable, cooperative, and able to work well with others.
• Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Schedule

Full-time, 2nd shift position. Overtime may be required.
