About the role
Pick orders to satisfy production work orders, sample orders, and intercompany raw material transfers. Receive raw material in a timely fashion to meet customer demand. Ship finished product for distribution.
Responsibilities
- Open cartons with safety knife; grasp and pull parts; knot poly bags; break down corrugate.
- Operate order picking machine at extreme heights; operate wave machine at 10 feet.
- Read orders and fulfill them using RF tracker for transactions while maintaining performance standards based on the Performance Management System (ProTrack).
- Use AS400 system to view inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- May need to work at an off-site warehouse based on business needs.
- Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on a regular basis, up to 6 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Certified on wave and order picker machines.
Pay
Anticipated salary range: $17.25 - $25.00 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
