Warehouse Operator Forklift

About the role

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators in Wilmington, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate various shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable

Benefits

• Weekly pay up to $24.50 per hour (including productivity incentives)
• Base pay: $18.50 per hour, with increases at 90 and 180 days and 3% after 1 year
• Overtime pay: $27.75 per hour
• Productivity incentives up to $6 per hour
• Sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid in two installments at 30 and 90 days

Pay

• Up to $24.50 per hour (including productivity incentives)
• Base pay: $18.50 per hour
• Additional pay: Productivity Incentives up to $6 per hour

Schedule

• A: Sunday - Tuesday 5am-4:30pm, Wednesday 5am-10:45am
