Responsibilities
- Sorting and placing received materials on racks, shelves, and/or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, etc.
- Shipping/Receiving/Order Picking
- Operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Assemble customer work orders for pickup
- Assemble customer orders on trucks for delivery when needed
- Maintain a good customer experience
- Maintain proper inventory levels by utilizing an RF scanner and assisting in inventory counts
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, for example, materials returned to shelves properly and in order, aisles are clean and accessible, sweeps as needed
- Follow all safety rules and policies, including all mandated safety protective equipment
Requirements
- Forklift experience
- Position involves heavy lifting 50-100 lbs
- Building product knowledge and sheetrock handling desirable but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work during inclement weather
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
