Warehouse Operator (2nd Shift)

About the role

The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety, sanitation, and efficiency of the warehouse and freezer areas. This role involves inspecting all pallets of product and trailers before loading, ensuring accuracy in the inventory database, and performing various warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Hand scan staged loads into the D365 system and complete the staging portion of the shipping checklist.
• Staging loads in the warehouse's staging area.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness before loading; load trucks.
• Ship products through the D365 system and complete the shipping portion of the shipping checklist.
• Inspect and unload incoming supplies or product deliveries.
• Receive products into the D365 system.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous inventory control experience a plus.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, and swing), weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication skills.
• Reliable attendance.
• Proficient in forklift and pallet jack operations.
• Computer literate with beginner knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. SharePoint and D365 knowledge a plus.

• Good physical condition to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working in various temperatures.

• Physical requirements: Sitting 50%, Standing 25%, Walking 10%, Lifting 10%, and Climbing 5%.

Pay

This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $22.73.
