Warehouse Operator (2nd shift)
Position Overview
The Industry-Leader of Motors and Drives
Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping and 6S activities adhering to all OSHA and Innomotics LLC safety and work practice policies.
- Effectively operate a computer, including basic functions of Microsoft Office products and SAP.
- Perform daily cycle counts and/or bin analysis to maintain inventory accuracy levels above 98%.
- Interpret drawings, specifications and manufacturing methods.
- Measure and record dimensions using measuring equipment related to processes.
- Stamp or sign-off and date all labor packet operations performed.
- Follow appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction from supervisor.
- Must meet all physical job requirements.
- Perform material handling, and other assigned tasks (hand truck, crane).
- Adhere to all safe work practices and plant rules of conduct.
- Adhere to all outlined section and operational processes and procedures.
- Notify supervisor of quality, process and/or safety issues and concerns.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- 1–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience (preferred)
- Experience with RF scanners and barcode systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-driven
- Exposure to inventory systems or cycle counting processes
- Ability to operate fork and hand trucks, overhead cranes, hoists, and other equipment used for storage or movement of material.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.91. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
