Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm)

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments in a manner that meets company expectations for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Mets engineered labor standards for production.
• Utilizes Red Prairie WMS and LMS systems in accurate and timely manner utilizing bar codes, radio frequency (RF) and or desktop computer equipment.
• Operates material handling equipment (sit down, stand up reach forklifts; slip attachments) in a manner that abides by all safety rules and assures that it is used correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines of operation.
• Cleans and maintains vehicles; reports any issues; completes required inspections.
• Unloads and loads orders; repalletizes product as necessary.
• Inspects and documents product according to QIP and GMP.
• Retrieves materials, packaging, and food products from designated locations.
• Picks and palletizes individual cases weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Completes daily cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Works in both ambient and refrigerated environments; works evenings and weekends as needed.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations for accurate receipt and shipment of product.
• Inputs data into operating systems using keypad or handwritten documents.
• Completes reports and documentation for tracking of hours utilized, internal damage, trailer inspections, and pallet tallies.
• Ensures work area cleanliness and organization.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Complies with environmental, safety, and food safety laws and regulations.
• Complies with SQF requirements and reports food safety concerns.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months recent forklift experience.
• Preferred: Forklift certification (slip sheet experience preferred).
