About the role

Eden Tyre Sales is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution team at Codnor Gate Industrial Estate, Ripley, Derbyshire. Working as part of our warehouse team, you’ll help receive, organise and dispatch tyres to our retail branches and wholesale customers across the region. This is a busy, hands-on role that involves regular manual handling. Eden Tyres & Servicing, established in 1981, is a family-run business and one of the UK’s largest independent tyre retailers, with 29 retail branches and a wholesale division supplying garages across Central UK. Our warehouse and delivery fleet operate from Codnor Gate Industrial Estate, supplying tyres to our own branches and independent garages large and small. We’re a growing business with a friendly, down-to-earth team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tyres safely and efficiently
• Move and store tyres in the correct warehouse locations
• Pick and prepare stock ready for deliveries
• Check products for damage and report any discrepancies
• Keep warehouse areas and equipment clean and organised
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Support the wider warehouse team as required

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling
• Organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to duties and working hours
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage

Pay

£29,744 – £30,992 per annum

Schedule

Full-time, permanent. Weekday shifts with variable start times between 5:00 am and 9:00 am. Saturday: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm (on a rota basis).
