Warehouse Operative - Missouri

Location: Cameron, Missouri

About the Role

Assist in the daily operations of our distribution center including loading/unloading trucks and customer service. Perform routine clerical work in answering telephones, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record keeping. Overtime hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to learn and recognize various parts and products
• Loading and unloading materials
• Read and interpret customer orders to determine materials, process, and disposition requirements
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Package and handle UPS orders as required
• Ensure calls are handled efficiently and effectively
• Use of personal protective equipment is required
• Follow safe production policies and practices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Commercial driver’s license highly desired
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
• Must be willing to operate various pieces of material handling equipment
• Forklift certification will be required upon hire (previous forklift experience preferred)
• Overtime hours and some Saturdays will be required

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking constantly throughout the day
• Climbing frequently (on/off forklift)
• Required to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally but frequently required to lift and push up to 10 pounds
• Handling equipment and having both hands available is occasionally required while having finger/wrist movement frequently
• Stooping and crouching very seldom throughout the day
• Rarely have to balance, kneel, or reach throughout the day but occasionally sit

Skills

• General computer skills
• Ability to learn how to use software to view and input data for shop order updates
