Warehouse Operations Manager
About the role
The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees 7 Warehouse Associates, 5 CDL Drivers, and 2 Warehouse Operations Supervisors. Reporting structure includes direct reports to the General Manager and Regional Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 7 Warehouse Associates, titled "Operations Specialists"
- Oversee 5 CDL Drivers, titled "Transportation Specialists"
- Oversee 2 Warehouse Operations Supervisors (1 per shift)
- Directly manage 17 employees
- Lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Coordinate and schedule basic facility maintenance
- Thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management
- Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel
- Strong background in full-spectrum inbound and outbound operations including receiving, checking in materials, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, and shipping
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiency
- WMS and/or ERP system proficiency
- Experience developing and enforcing SOPs
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management, proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership, strong background in full-spectrum inbound and outbound operations including receiving, checking in materials, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, and shipping, demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiency, WMS and/or ERP system proficiency, experience developing and enforcing SOPs, knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance, ability to coordinate and schedule basic facility maintenance (electricians, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, waste management), strong organizational and communication skills, hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Pay
$80k annual salary. Starting rate is not negotiable.
Schedule
Monday through Friday. Earliest start time is 5:00am. Latest end time is 9:00pm, but the expectation is NOT to work that long of a day by any means. Start time could vary depending on what needs to be completed for the day. In-house CDL Drivers start between 4:30am and 5:00am. Warehouse associates work two shifts: 7:00am to 4:00pm and 11:00am to 8:00pm.
