A Day In The Life
Oversee staff and ensure daily tasks are completed on a timely and safe manner.
- Verify and maintain records on all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure an accurate inventory by following policy and procedures.
- Possess the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure both are correct and meet specifications.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Assign and perform daily cycle counts to guarantee an accurate and consistent inventory.
- Project a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
- Display a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain office functions including filing, billing, match receiving paperwork.

Qualifications
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, General Management or related field of study.
Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in general warehouse operations.
Skills
Computer Skills Desired: Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and systems.
