Warehouse Operations Lead 2nd Shift

About the role

We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in Mt. Pocono, PA. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they are correct and meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assign and perform daily cycle counts to guarantee an accurate and consistent inventory.
• Support the team when required, such as assembling hoses to meet customer or stocking needs.
• Project a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
• Supervise warehouse staff and monitor their performance on assigned daily tasks.
• Maintain office functions including filing, billing, matching receiving paperwork.

Requirements

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Business, General Management, or a related field of study.
• Experience Desired: 1-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Additional Experience Desired: 1-3 years of experience in general warehouse operations.
• Computer Skills Desired: Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and warehouse management system (WMS).
• Preferred Certifications: None.
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and systems.
