About the role

Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCUL) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the formulation, development, and commercialization of innovative therapies for diseases and conditions of the eye using its proprietary bioresorbable hydrogel-based formulation technology, ELUTYX™. This role supports daily warehousing and logistics activities in a cGMP environment at our Bedford, MA headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
  • Receive inbound material, including breakdown of pallets, labeling, and processing inbound Purchase Orders in Ocular Therapeutix’s ERP system.
  • Accurately store materials in designated locations both physically and systematically within the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the release of incoming materials requiring inspection.
  • Fulfill material requests for Manufacturing, Engineering, Development, and other departments.
  • Accurately transact material movements within the ERP system.
  • Initiate or collaborate on Non-Conforming Material Reports and Deviations related to Warehousing & Logistics.
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, scheduling truck pickups, processing small parcel shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Perform cycle counts, restock consumables, and maintain accurate inventory of cGMP and non-cGMP materials.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations, EHS safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2-4 years of warehouse experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments.
  • Demonstrable experience in Good Documentation Practices.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Able to thrive in an environment of frequent changes.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive issues to closure.
  • Self-starter who is hands-on with projects and assignments.

Skills

  • Experience with shipping domestically and internationally.
  • Experience utilizing FedEx Ship Manager and/or UPS Worldship.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, QAD, or other ERP systems.

Pay

$25.50 USD - $31.25 USD per hour.
