Responsibilities
- Handle phone dispatch to coordinate and monitor all transportation and routing operations.
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status, answering questions.
- Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
- Inventories and verifies damaged stock upon arrival in warehouse.
- Manages and facilitates the process or repairing and replacing damaged items in a 48-hour time frame.
- Updates inventory software system for damages, repairs, and new items.
- Prepares accurate reports for upper management.
- Other projects and/or duties as assigned which may include minor warehouse assistance.
Qualifications
- Salary range based on experience.
- 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
- Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
- Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Computer literate in Office Suite programs, CRM software and navigating the internet.
- Prior furniture rental experience.
- Prior customer service experience.

Schedule
Temporarily, this role will be located in a coworking space located in Bridgeport, however when available, this role will be permanently located in our new Bridgeport Warehouse Location.
