Warehouse Material Handler Weekend Shift

Schedule

Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; team lifts or mechanical equipment will be used for commercial tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • May assist other departments such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
  • One year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
  • Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Ability to pass forklift certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must meet visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability requirements to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds. Occasional exertion of a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) requires team lifts or mechanical equipment. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel/composite toe boots.

Work environment: Exposure to prevailing weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.
