Warehouse/Material Handler - Urgent Need

About the role

Entry-level contract position for a Warehouse Operator at a Medical Devices Company in Durham, NC. The role involves material handling and management within clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
• Follow basic written instructions and protocols
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
• Adhere to quality guidelines and work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
• Lift and/or move over 50 lbs as required

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of forklift driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Effective communication skills at a level that co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand

Pay

• $16–$20/hr

Schedule

• 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
