Warehouse Material Handler/Backup Box Truck Driver (448)

About the role

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler to join its team. In this role, you will receive materials, pull orders for walk-in customers, operate forklifts, and load products onto delivery trucks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse
• Respond to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional manner
• Complete pick ticket orders
• Unload/receive all OTR deliveries
• Pull and stage orders for each company delivery truck
• Perform rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis
• Provide excellent customer service
• Double check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly
• Treat all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned
• Perform all duties safely

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
• Building material experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and team player
• Box truck experience is preferred

Pay

$20.50-23/hr. Based on experience and qualifications.
