Pay

Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 premium when working night shift

Night Shift
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am

About the Role

Ryder warehouse associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include retail items. Equipment used includes forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator’s license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable with a strong attendance record
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must follow health and safety methods
• Available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
