Warehouse Material Handler

About the role

A Material Handler at Nellis Auction plays a vital role in the efficiency and success of our warehouse operations. This position requires a proactive, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products from trailers to Inventory Processors.
• Safely down-stack goods using pallet jacks, panel carts, and furniture dollies.
• Ensure the warehouse space remains clean, organized, and accessible for team members.
• Assist in maintaining inventory order and integrity.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Operate Bailer/Compactor.
• Handle all incoming products carefully to ensure they remain in quality condition for auction.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a general laborer, warehouse associate, or handyman.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer/data entry skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift items over 100 lbs with team assistance.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Comfortable standing and walking for long periods at a time.
• Ability to work in hot/cold environments within the warehouse.
