Warehouse Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack inventory to prepare for shipment
• Load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery trucks
• Auxiliary in inventory management
• Deliver production-ready materials to production
• Remove completed pallets from the palletizer
• Remove waste
• Operate and maintain forklifts and other shipping/receiving equipment
• Update raw material inventories
• Manage and organize warehouse inventory
• Provide updates on raw material inventories
• Work with Microsoft Office and Inventory Management Software
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Pull and prepare raw material to the production floor
• Assist with raw material, WIP, and finished goods on the production line as needed

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, with preference given to individuals with 1-2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment, material handling, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to be licensed and experienced with forklift operations
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites and a general knowledge of computers is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of understanding and following oral and written instructions
• Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
