Warehouse Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; team lifts or mechanical equipment will be used for commercial tires.
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
• Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
• Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures.
• May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds.
• Occasional pushing force up to 40 pounds.
• Handling of commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) using team lifts or mechanical equipment.
• Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). Steel/composite toe boots are the only equipment not provided by U.S. AutoForce.
• Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.
