Warehouse Material Handler-3

About the role

Ryder is seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Material Handler in Pullman, Illinois. This position supports distribution across the US and offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and stock options.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
