Warehouse Material Handler-3

About the role

Ryder is seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Material Handler in Pullman, Illinois. This position supports distribution across the US and offers competitive pay, benefits, and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks
• Handling day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up practices
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate various shifts
