Job Description

• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction.
• Picking and Kitting, responsible for accurately and efficiently locating, retrieving, and systemically issuing material for production use.
• Aids in the management of inventory integrity through cycle count schedule adherence.
• Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.
• Shipping and receiving. Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Valid State Driver’s License with no violations.
• Experience lifting 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Experience operating a box truck and forklift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a warehouse or stockroom environment for at least one year.
• Positive team player.
