Warehouse Material Handler

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Etna, Ohio. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career in a safe supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Able to work within a flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Work using health and safety methods

Pay

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour for second shift

Schedule

• Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 12:00am
