Warehouse Material Handler - 1st Shift - Miamisburg, OH

About the role

This role is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. It is located in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Receive & Verify: Load, unload, and verify incoming truckload shipments using digital inventory databases and physical records.
• Material Distribution: Safely store and distribute raw materials and finished goods according to department guidelines.
• Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (Order Picker, Forklift, Pallet Jacks) safely to maneuver products up to 2,000 lbs.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Respond to material requests, assist teammates with problem-solving, and maintain clean, organized 5S workstations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: High School/GED
• Technical Skills: Experience with Inventory Control systems/locator databases and basic math proficiency (fractions, decimals).
• Equipment Experience: Ability to safely operate forklifts or order pickers and obtain a Material Handling License.
• Physical Agility: Ability to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (and up to 100 lbs. with mechanical assistance).
