ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure coworkers do also.
- Specific Job Functions:
- Ensure fork truck inspections are timely.
- Pick and deliver internal and external orders.
- Warehouse organization.
- Inventory movement and tracking.
- Operation of lift truck.
- Operate software.
- Allocation of product.
- Packaging product.
- Scheduling freight pickups and deliveries.
- Load and unload trucks.
Qualifications
- Ability to use company software and programs, ERP and WMS.
- Inventory tracking.
- General quality systems.
- Lift truck operation.
- Visual inspection.
Education and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for freight scheduling of product.
- Or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Reasoning Abilities
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and/or telephone keypad;
- Reach with hands and arms;
- Stand, walk;
- Sit;
- Stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Work Environment
