Warehouse Material Handler 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Hutchins, Texas. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• A high degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• A good attendance record and punctuality.
• Possesses a high degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
• Adequate physical stamina and strength.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Pay

• $22.75 per hour.

Schedule

• A Shift: Monday - Thursday & Tuesday-Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm.
