Warehouse Material Handler 1

About the role

The position involves performing warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. It also includes auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks. The role requires providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse setting (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional relationships within all organizational levels (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual and good attendance record.
• Independent work with minimal supervision.
• Initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Standing for long periods.
• Health and safety methods.
• Flexible schedule on various work shifts.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Pay

Hourly pay rate of $22.63 per hour.
