Warehouse, Marathon City, WI

We are seeking personnel to support our Shipping/Receiving and/or Warehouse Department.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm. Saturday hours are generally 12:45 pm to 6:45 pm. Shift differential of $1.00/hr above the base rate.
• 3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:45 pm to 6:45 am (Monday night start). Saturday hours are generally 6:45 pm to 12:45 am or until Sanitation is complete. Shift differential of $1.50/hr above the base rate.

Availability for Saturday hours depends on production and staffing needs. Overtime may be required, including weekends. All work exceeding 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week is compensated at time-and-a-half.

Responsibilities

• Receive all loads on safe and clean trailers with acceptable temperatures.
• Select customer orders with 100% accuracy, stage, and safely load on trailers.
• Operate a forklift safely (prior experience helpful but not required; training provided if necessary).
• Follow proper trailer loading procedures, including weight distribution, pallet-load integrity, and top stacking limitations.
• Back in trailers using the spotter truck.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, and work in refrigerated temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist in training for the position when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with numbers, computers, or capable of being trained on keyboarding and bar coding systems.
• Accuracy in basic math and ability to read shipping documents.
• Neat and legible penmanship.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable with flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (education beyond high school is a plus).
• Forklift experience is desirable but not required.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial.

Working Conditions

• Work inside a clean, refrigerated warehouse and climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally.
