Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages the overall operation of a warehouse.
• Maintains financial performance, monitors operational budgets, inventory management, capital expenditures, staffing, transportation, quality and productivity standards.
• Ensures workforce meets or exceeds established quality, efficiency, performance, customer service, and attendance standards.
• Maintains safety of the workforce by observing and coaching employees in complying with safety rules; removes safety obstacles; complies with all governmental regulations.
• Fosters a cohesive and productive team through collaboration, inclusion, and teamwork.
• Models safe work practices to others.
• Collaborates with the Branch Manager and/or Regional Operations leadership in defining and fulfilling financial objectives of the warehouse.
• Organizes and maintains the warehouse facility to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Uses powered equipment, such as forklift, electric pallet jack, and cherry picker.
• Serves as subject matter expert on warehouse processes and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year directly managing a team of employees in a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience managing logistics or related functions.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Experience with OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations and procedures.
