Warehouse Manager

Description Strategically mange the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and visionDirect all receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operationsEnsure effective, safe operations by implementing operational policies and proceduresEnsure effective and safe use of warehouse equipmentEnsure safety of staff and compliance with OSHA regulationsEffectively manage staff regarding performance, safety, and productivityMaintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activitiesMaintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehiclesProduce reports and statistics regularlyWorks closely with Human Resources to recruit, select, orient, train, coach, and motivate employeesWorks cross-functionally with other departments regarding inventory, scheduling, and dispatchIn collaboration with leadership, set warehouse and team goals Requirements 5+ years warehouse management experienceExcellent understanding of warehouse management proceduresProficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controlsProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Ability to analyze data and activities to identify process breakdownProficient with computer and software to include Microsoft and ability to learn internal software programsStrong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills.Understanding of OSHA standardsAbility to operate forklift effectivelyPossess a valid drivers' license Preferred Experience Bilingual (English/Spanish)DOT knowledge
