Responsibilities
- Reorganize and optimize the warehouse layout, inventory flow, staging, shipping, and receiving areas.
- Build and implement warehouse systems, processes, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Own and manage the WMS, ensuring inventory and order accuracy.
- Manage the Loan-to-Own program and related warehouse operations.
- Oversee route planning, driver assignments, and daily delivery coordination.
- Confirm previous deliveries, resolve outstanding issues, and assign daily warehouse tasks.
- Review and clear order tickets and coordinate orders with warehouse and delivery schedules.
- Schedule and manage warehouse labor and team productivity.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and oversee safe forklift and material-handling operations.
- Coordinate garbage and recycling.
- Identify and resolve internal and external operational issues.
- Establish KPIs, accountability, and continuous-improvement practices.
- Build an operation that is organized, efficient, repeatable, and scalable.
Requirements
- Proven experience building or reorganizing a warehouse operation from the ground up.
- Startup or high-growth company experience strongly preferred.
- Experience designing warehouse layouts and improving workflow.
- Strong WMS, inventory, logistics, and process-management experience.
- Experience managing warehouse teams, labor, and daily operations.
- Understanding of delivery logistics, routing, and driver coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Hands-on leadership style—willingness to work on the floor and drive results.
- Ability to turn chaos into structure and create systems that scale with company growth.
