Direct, manage, and maintain inventory, warehouse, and shipping & receiving functions to ensure an accurate and timely flow of goods and materials through the Praxis supply chain—including goods receipt, production support, inventory control, and shipping logistics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory organization and accuracy at 98% or higher.
- Analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure accuracy of production reporting by reviewing data entry, cycle counts, and physical inventory results; implement procedures for accurate reporting.
- Provide inventory valuation reports, adjustments, and variance explanations to the Scheduler.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, pallets, and packing for scheduled production.
- Direct and supervise staff and supervisors, including work assignments, coaching, and performance reviews; establish annual department and individual performance goals.
- Maintain effective communication with Praxis customers.
- Annually review and update training programs, content, and recertification to ensure employee knowledge of company procedures.
- Ensure proper training, controls, and disciplines are in place, including maintaining or creating SOPs for inventory control and production reporting.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports on slow-moving, obsolete, hold, and rework inventory to eliminate such classifications.
- Expedite operations that delay schedules.
- Verify time cards daily to meet payroll deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures; improve the quality management system through audits, data analysis, and corrective actions.
- Supervise a diverse workforce of 30-45 warehouse employees (directly or indirectly).
- Assist Human Resources with interviewing and performance management.
- Ensure employees are trained according to their roles and address complaints or problems, escalating to leadership when needed.
- Enforce proper PPE and safety procedures.
- Instill a culture of quality through modeled behaviors and mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of warehouse experience.
- Supervision experience.
- Experience managing employees with diverse educational backgrounds, work styles, and employment histories.
Pay
Starting from USD $90,000.00/year.
