Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily functions of the shipping department, including managing personnel, coordinating orders, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain budgetary guidelines for the Shipping Department and warehouse personnel
• Hold regular meetings with departments to evaluate performance and discuss ideas
• Establish acceptable performance levels for personnel and mentor them to exceed expectations
• Coordinate inbound and outbound orders with Commodity Management, PTC Logistics, and Client Services
• Schedule and train personnel for daily product movements
• Coordinate loads, fulfill orders, and prepare shipping lists
• Communicate with Fresh Food Production Supervisor for inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with internal and external audits
• Cross-train personnel and oversee forklift operators and dock workers
• Maintain accurate records and ensure cleanliness of the facility
• Follow GMPs, OSHA standards, and company policies

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in compliance and/or safety training
• Knowledge of DOT state and federal requirements
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Industry-specific knowledge in Famous
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required
